Diageo THE-BAR by Airdrop: Luxurious Relaxation in a Premium Whisky Lounge

Premium liquor company Diageo Korea has opened 'THE-BAR by Airdrop' pop-up store at Seoul's Sinsa-dong Airdrop Space.

Situated in the heart of Sinsa-dong's Garosu-gil, the space provides a leisurely and premium experience, reminiscent of a private villa at a resort.

Comprising various areas such as a pickup station, media facade, whisky bar and lounge, and a brand cellar, the whisky lounge is accompanied by Kave Home.

The whisky bar exudes a quiet and sophisticated atmosphere with subtle lighting. In a unique setting resembling a gallery, Kave Home's Blok sofa is placed.

The unique design of the Blok sofa follows traditional European production methods, creating an environmentally friendly product with reduced carbon dioxide emissions. Crafted from sustainably sourced wood, the frame adds to the eco-friendly appeal. The soft corduroy fabric enhances the luxurious and cozy ambiance in the cool space.

In front of the Blok sofa, 'Garbet Round Cement Sofa Table Ø 80cm' and 'Garbet Round Cement Sofa Table Ø 60cm' are elegantly arranged. Crafted from trendy cement material, these sofa tables boast a minimalistic design, adding a stylish touch to the space. The soft, round shapes counterbalance any perceived harshness in angular spaces. The beam projecting a sea view on the adjacent wall further enhances the feeling of relaxation in a sophisticated seaside villa.

In front of the second Blok sofa, 'Rustella Cement Sofa Table 80 x 60cm' is placed. Similar to Garbet, this trendy cement table with its rectangular shape complements the round shapes of Garbet, introducing a different level of sophistication.

The combination of fabric and cement in this modern and luxurious space brings a refreshing and harmonious feel, effectively balancing distinctive elements.

The Diageo 'THE-BAR by Airdrop' pop-up store, operational from November 21st until April 2024, serves as an extension of Diageo's London store and bar, 'THE-BAR at Home.' The pop-up store is designed to provide diverse brand experiences for Korean customers amidst the rapidly increasing interest in whisky. Open every Tuesday to Sunday from 2 PM to 10 PM, it offers a chance to explore Kave Home products at the whisky bar and lounge.
